Considering Peace

This past Remembrance Day the thought of considering Peace for two minutes every day exploded inside me. Remembrance Day comes and goes and life goes on with it's beauty and its conflicts. "The only way to end a culture of violence is to proactively create a culture of peace." Marianne Williamson. I want to take this little 5 letter word and make it the biggest 5 letter word ever. For me that translates to taking two minutes every day to consider peace for our world. Will you join me?

For Today...

Some things to think about for today.

If your understanding of the divine made you kinder, more empathetic, and impelled you to express sympathy in concrete acts of loving-kindness, this was good theology. But if your notion of God made you unkind, belligerent, cruel, of self-righteous, or if it led you to kill in God's name, it was bad theology.

As you take two minutes to consider peace for our world today, think about how you can act in the world that will bring about inner peace for you and from there peace to the world.
